A Message from The Vermont Movie Store on COVID-19

We're open for business! We are here and taking orders. We are trying our best to do what we always do - ship the same business day as an order is placed, if possible, and we appreciate your patience if things are slightly delayed. As long as the United States Post Office is open, accepting packages and delivering to you good folks - we are going to be here accepting your orders, packing them up and sending them to you. (Our suppliers have made similar commitments.)

Especially in these very trying times we all need a little bit of entertainment in our lives. We're in this together and we'll come out of it together. The Vermont Movie Store is here for you!

The safety and well-being of our customers and employees is a top priority at The Vermont Movie Store. To that end, we want to take the time to share how we are addressing the rising concerns regarding COVID-19.

We are closely monitoring the situation and are following the latest guidelines from the World Health Organization, U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal and local agencies. We are taking all the necessary steps to provide a safe and healthy work environment, including implementing additional protective measures across our warehouse and offices.

In addition to our standard health procedures, these further measures include:

Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting all areas, with consistent reminders posted in our offices and warehouse.

Distributing hand sanitizers in our offices and warehouse while continuing to remind employees to wash their hands regularly.

Encouraging employees to report any illnesses they are experiencing and to stay at home if they are sick

We know this is a difficult and fluid situation, but we want you to know that we are here for you. We will do everything we can to help our employees, friends, customers and community stay safe.

We are working with a smaller staff than usual and hope that you will understand if some things (answering emails, shipping, etc.) might take just a little bit longer than usual. But we try our best to keep to our schedule and ship as we normally would.

The USPS is also working a little bit slower and some scans have not been happening as quickly as they should. They are working on that and we all hope to be as "normal" as possible.
